For those of us who like a little history  with our modelling this book is the one to read for it has lots of tales from the people who flew and worked on them, some serious some informative and some lighthearted. As with all Ad Hoc Publications the book is printed on top quality paper and although the photographs are all monochrome they are all good clear shots from a number of sources. At least ten contributors have added authoritative text to the author's own, four pages of side view profiles and a centre spread of the authors aircraft in the usual four view drawings are the colour parts of this book.
An interesting book not only as a historical piece but very useful to modellers who have the new Wyvern kit from Trumpeter.   A "must have" volume. Available from Hannants price £12.95
