THE HELLER KIT
<>
High quality and very reasonable priced. This model was build straight out of the box. The instruction sheet, the decals: Excellent! Airbrakes can be deployed and wings folded.

In the same range can be obtained the Etendard IVM  (Marine) . This being the predecessor from the Super etendard.

THE DIORAMA

The combination of the Super Etendard and the Air launched AM.39 anti-ship missile Excocet, approaching its target at sea level,  proved to be a lethal  combination  during the Falkland war  in 1982. Tactics describe manoeuvring at sea level,  with pop ups for a (few) seconds to activate the on board Agave radar system, to give the pilot a look ahead. That gave me the idea to finish it off in the ANA colours.

The seize of the model is sufficient to put it in the dust free showcase

The Aircraft is armed with the AM39 Excocet missile under the starboard wing and for balance the fuel tank is under the port wing.

The location is the “Rio Gallegos” ANA airbase, situated at the southern tip of Argentina. To inspire the pilot, there is a little “road sign” placed that will guide him in the right direction.
